Hi I’m Jay. I joined Little Adventures Nurseries in November 2021 as Nursery Development Manager and have progressed to being the Head of Nursery Operations. I have been working in the Early Years sector since 2009. In this time, I have held various positions from Nursery Nurse to Area Manager overseeing 7 nurseries. I feel extremely fortunate to work in Early Years as I know how important these years are for children. I completed my BA (Hons) in Early Years Education in 2017 and this has helped me further my own knowledge of how children learn and develop. I have a passion for ensuring that the teams are trained to a high standard to deliver the best quality care. I have a son of my own so understand how important it is to ensure that you choose the right setting for your children. In my free time I like nothing more than exploring with my little family and we absolutely love baking together. I am currently studying for my Level 7 in Strategic Leadership which is supporting me to help the company grow.
Hi, I’m Teri and I am the Customer Service Supervisor for Little Adventures Nurseries. I joined the team in 2022 and am based at Victoria Park. I am AAT Level 2 qualified and currently working towards my L3 Business Administration qualification. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband, two sons and our 2 dogs and we love being outdoors exploring. My eldest was in fact the first child to register with Little Adventures when they opened their first setting in Cheddar.
Hi I’m Claire. I joined Little Adventures Nurseries in September 2023 as the Development Manager. I have over 25 years experience working in Early Years. During this time, I have worked in a primary school, managed a preschool and held two nursery manager positions, my last setting was an independent outstanding nursery. I completed my Degree in Education in 2017, this was a huge achievement and deepened my understanding of how children learn and develop. I am highly passionate about Early Years, have high standards and do all that I can to ensure that the children in my care are given the best start in their learning journey. I have always felt privileged to work with children and love to support staff who are new to or developing their skills and knowledge. Outside of work I love to spend quality time with family, going out for meals and long dog walks. I also love to travel and embrace this whenever possible.
Hi I’m Angelene and I started working for Little Adventures Nurseries in June 2022 as a Quality Advisor. I have over 20 years experience working in Early Years. After qualifying at college I started my career working for the NSPCC, working with families who needed extra support and looking after their babies in a creche environment. Following this the majority of my career has been working in nursery settings as senior management which included running busy Baby, Toddler and Pre-School rooms. Within the past 12 years I studied for my degree as well as working in Leadership and Management roles, with my previous position being a Nursery Manager of a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding setting. My experience has enabled me to mentor, support and train staff to achieve the highest of standards. I am really passionate about ensuring all children have the best start in life through nurture and Early Years Education. Children develop so quickly and it’s a privilege to watch them progress and build skills for future learning. I devote my spare time to my family, enjoying dog walks and a variety of parent and baby groups with my daughter.
Hi I’m Kelly. I’m the Assistant Financial Controller for Little Adventures Nurseries and primarily deal with invoicing and fees. In my spare time, I like to go for walks, paddle boarding and rifle shooting and spending time with my cat Luna.
I feel extremely fortunate to have been working in a profession that I love for the last 7 years. I currently hold a level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Years and love to learn new things. I have progressed through the ranks, starting my career as a nursery practitioner and now more recently being part of management. I bring an innate passion to provide a nurturing environment to support the achievement of positive outcomes for children through play. In my spare time, I love exploring both cities and the countryside in the hopes of finding new places to enjoy with family and friends. There’s nothing better than sitting in a quite, little cafe, tucked away somewhere with great food and company!
I've worked in childcare for over eight years. I'm very passionate about supporting children's development, and I feel so fortunate to play a part in building the foundations for their future. I have worked through many roles, starting as an apprentice and now in management. I love seeing both staff and children reach their fullest potential. In my spare time, I love reading, particularly fiction. I am also very interested in technology, and I love finding out how things work.
Hi my names Anita and I’m looking forward to joining this exciting and new Nursery. I will be training right from the start, I’m so looking forward to this new adventure. I may not have worked in a Nursery before but I’ve had 16 years experience volunteering in a children group . In those years I’ve enjoyed doing arts and crafts, playing games, generally encouraging and helping the children. I am looking forward to getting to know the children and families. In my spare time I love cycling with my husband or going out cycling with friends. There’s nothing better than finding a good coffee shop halfway round. In my quieter times I love reading fiction and also listening to music.
My name is Kim Knight. I qualified for my Level 3 in 2013 at Somerset College in Taunton. I then went to Plymouth University to study Early Childhood Studies and graduated in 2016. I have worked for a few different nurseries, and have had the opportunity to be a senior nursery practitioner. I really find it rewarding to watch a child come into a nursery, and watch them grow into their own personality. I enjoy creating activities to incorporate other festivals and celebrations that are in the calendar. When I am not working I am happy to escape into a good book. I have also published a book online, and I am continuing to write more in my spare time. I also really enjoy listening to a variety of bands, and when I can go to watch them live.

I am very excited to become Room Manager in Preschool and share my ideas and exciting activities with the children, staff, and families. Hi, I'm Ellie! I have worked in childcare for over seven years, having previously been a room manager at another setting. I have a real passion for working with young children and love helping them learn, develop and grow throughout their early years before they move on to school. I especially enjoy doing messy play activities, running around with the children in the garden and reading stories, where I make up lots of silly voices. I'm also known to be very good at making play dough from scratch! In my spare time I like to play video games, spend time with my family and I have a special interest in history, so I regularly go to museums and National Trust properties on weekends.
Hi I'm Sophie Vincent. I am level 2 qualified in childcare and am currently doing my level 3!
