Tiny Travellers
Our Tiny Travellers room provides a warm, nurturing environment for babies and toddlers aged 6 weeks to 2 years. We focus on creating a truly home-from-home experience where every child feels safe, secure, loved, and supported as they begin their learning journey.
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, we plan meaningful experiences that promote children’s development while recognising that every child is unique. Rather than following rigid routines, we tailor each day around children’s individual needs, interests, and home routines, helping them feel comfortable and settled.
Children enjoy a wide range of engaging activities, including sensory play, singing, stories, sand and water play, and exploratory experiences designed to encourage curiosity and development. These activities support the growth of fine motor skills, communication, confidence, and early social development in a fun and stimulating way.
Our Tiny Travellers also benefit from direct access to their own dedicated outdoor garden, providing plenty of opportunities for free-flow play, fresh air, and exploration of the natural environment.

Little Explorers & Big Adventurers
Our Little Explorers room is designed for children aged 2–3 years, offering a stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence, and curiosity through carefully planned, age-appropriate experiences. Our experienced practitioners create engaging activities that support every area of learning and development while building on each child’s individual interests.
Our Big Adventurers room welcomes children aged 3–5 years and has been thoughtfully designed to promote independence, exploration, and preparation for school. With a wide range of resources and learning opportunities available throughout the day, children are encouraged to make choices, solve problems, develop friendships, and discover new interests in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
We believe that strong parent partnerships are key to a child’s success. Each week, we share detailed learning and development plans with families, providing an insight into the activities and experiences taking place within the nursery. Through the Famly App, parents receive regular observations, updates, and photographs, allowing them to stay connected to their child’s learning journey.
By working closely with families and incorporating children’s interests from both home and nursery, we provide a holistic approach to learning that supports every child to thrive, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

Hi, I’m Teri and I am the Customer Service Supervisor for Little Adventures Nurseries. I joined the team in 2022 and am based at Victoria Park. I am AAT Level 2 qualified and currently working towards my L3 Business Administration qualification.In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband, two sons and our 2 dogs and we love being outdoors exploring. My eldest was in fact the first child to register with Little Adventures when they opened their first setting in Cheddar.
Head of Audits and Training
Angelene
My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby, Toddler and Pre-School rooms. For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff.I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through E-Learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub.
I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.
My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.

My journey in early years started around 23 years ago, I always wanted to provide nurture, fun and a safe environment in which children could thrive. I started as an apprentice, then worked my way up through various roles including nurseries, schools, and family support. My focus has and will always be to provide an outstanding environment for children to thrive, feel valued and safe in.
