Our Nursery Environments

At Little Adventures Bridgwater, we provide a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children are encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive through play, exploration, and discovery. Our nursery is made up of four carefully designed base rooms and two exciting outdoor gardens, allowing children to progress through environments that meet their changing developmental needs.

Tiny Explorers

Our youngest children begin their nursery journey in Tiny Explorers, where the focus is on building strong relationships, providing plenty of nurture, and helping children settle into nursery life. Our experienced team supports each child’s development through sensory-rich experiences and opportunities to explore their surroundings safely and independently.

Tiny Travellers

As children grow in confidence, they move into Tiny Travellers, where they are encouraged to develop their independence and begin making their own choices. Through carefully planned activities and play experiences, children learn new skills while building their confidence and curiosity.

Little Explorers

In Little Explorers, our older toddlers continue to strengthen their independence and develop resilience. We encourage children to take safe risks, solve problems, and explore new challenges, helping them build confidence in their own abilities.

Big Adventurers

Our Big Adventurers room is designed for preschool-aged children and focuses on preparing them not only for school but for life. Through a balance of play-based learning, practical experiences, and social development, children gain the skills they need to become confident, capable learners ready for their next adventure.

Rather than using strict age limits, we place great importance on each child’s individual development. This flexible approach allows us to tailor every child’s learning journey, ensuring they move between rooms when they are emotionally, socially, and developmentally ready.

Inspired by the Montessori approach, we encourage children to take an active role in their daily routines and develop important life skills. Children are supported to serve their own meals, clear away their plates, dispose of food waste responsibly, and help with washing up, fostering independence, responsibility, and confidence from an early age.
