Little Adventures Nurseries Adds Fifth Setting in Bridgwater to its GroupNews article

The multi-award-winning Little Adventures Nurseries chain has added a fifth site to its group. Based in Victoria Park, Bridgwater, the new day nursery site will have capacity to take up to 75 children.
Little Adventures Nurseries was the successful winner of a competitive tender process with the Somerset County Council Early Years Team and the Victoria Park Community Centre trustees to take on the new lease.
The new site will comprise of some of the best facilities in the area, complete with sensory room, children’s kitchen, forest school and library. The site will also become the training centre for all nursery staff in the group.
Speaking about the new addition to the group, director Tom Filer commented: ‘we are thrilled to have been chosen as the council’s provider of choice to take on this Bridgwater setting. We can’t wait to get started and begin showing parents around what we have to offer.’
The Bridgwater site is based next to the wider Victoria Park community centre and doctor’s surgery. The setting will be able to fully embed itself in the community, from OAP groups to the dance academy, alongside the nursery chain’s existing programme of extra-curricular and community based links.
The site also expects to offer kids club places to children aged 4-11 during the school holidays after it has launched.
The Bridgwater site will officially open its doors in September 2022, in the backdrop of a significant shortage of childcare places in Bridgwater.
Little Adventures Nurseries has existing sites in Cheddar, Taunton, Weston-super-Mare and Worle. The Cheddar site has recently won the prestigious ‘Top 20 South-West Nurseries’ award on parent review site daynurseries.co.uk and the wider group is the winner of FSB Start-Up Business of the Year 2022.
