Chef

Location: Victoria Park, Bridgwater | Salary: From £13.55 per hour | Full time, Permanent

We are looking for a Chef to join us in our brand new kitchen!

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To ensure that all food preparation and food handling complies with all health regulations and guidelines.
• To assist in the participation and preparation of planned cooking activities with the children where required
• To safely transport all prepared food to nursery rooms
• To maintain adequate levels of food stocks which are to be stored in appropriate storage conditions.
• To be responsible for ordering all food, maintaining monthly records for stocktaking purposes for all food stuffs
• Housekeeping- Supporting the nursery with laundry and maintaining cleanliness.
• To ensure the kitchen and all equipment is kept clean and tidy.
• To ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned thoroughly after each use, utilising the dishwasher as appropriate.
• To have an understanding of and to follow Safer Food Better Business
